How to use it

Fill the bag

Put the clothes or razai in. Leave a little room at the top — don't fill it right to the zip.

Seal the zip

Press the double zip closed and run the clip along it from one end to the other. This is the step to take your time on.

Pump the air out

Fit the pump to the valve and pump 6–8 times. The bag flattens in front of you.

Put it away

Close the valve cap and slide it onto a shelf, into the almari or into a suitcase. Done.

One-way valve

What it is: A one-way door for air.

Why it matters: Air goes out and cannot come back in. Lift the pump off and the valve closes itself.

Double zip seal

What it is: Not one but two zip lines, plus a slide clip.

Why it matters: Cheap bags have a single zip, and that is exactly where the air leaks. Run the slider twice — most leaks stop right there.

What it is: A 0.07 mm two-layer sheet — nylon (PA) outside, polyethylene (PE) inside.

Why it matters: PA gives the strength, PE makes the seal airtight.

What to store — and what not to

✕ Better not to store

  • Damp or wet clothes — never. Trapped moisture is the real enemy.
  • Leather and fur — compression can permanently misshape them.
  • Memory-foam pillows — they do not recover after long compression.
  • Sharp objects — hangers, heels, sharp buttons; wrap them in cloth first.
  • Heavy zari jora — fine to store, but pump gently, do not fully compress.
Two more things we would rather say up front: no vacuum bag is indestructible — used properly these last for years, but a sharp object can tear any bag. And clothes come out creased, the way anything folded does — shake them out and hang them, and the creases drop.
